We are now planning a city planning contest, we are contesting in 4 cities. Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune and Ahmedabad. All are welcome to participate and get a better purview of the said contest.
The guiding principles are as follows,
The Need:
One has to collate a need for the suggestion or the project, with a statistical and analytical evidence of making it a sustainable one.
The New:
Why do you think that the old process or the old thought has to change in terms of supply of basic amenities, road building, home construction, public spaces ? If there is a new process or a new idea how is it executable and what are the parameters one should keep in mind to have this implemented.
What resources:
How do these resources come from, private, Govt, Crowd or any new ideas? What is the best policy making for a citizen led decision for city planning or city enhancement.
Policy:
If there is a policy change that you are suggesting please have an explanation of the policy change with a case study to support the policy change.
Devices or Machines:
If any ideas about machines or devices which will help in reducing the cost or have better quality of construction or better necessary peripheral industries and change the material usage for construction, home improvement or health and safety.
